Course Description:

This two-part webinar will demonstrate intricate relationship of various extensor structures that form the extensor apparatus, and the flexor system of the hand. The cadaver dissection is performed on the fresh frozen cadaver.  Cadaveric Close-Up Videos reflect the details, which has never been shown before. This two-part series is open to all the professional practising hand therapy and hand surgery.

Objectives:

  • To discuss pathomechanics as a result dysfunction of one and its effect on various other flexor and extensor structures during motion
  • To discuss the relationship between the flexor & extensors and how they interact at various interval of digital motion
  • To highlight clinical conditions to demonstrate pathological consequences during motion
  • To aid in designing a therapeutic program to improve the outcome
